Recent Google Reviews
- Justin MacKay5.0Josh and Logan Jeffries of Jeffries Plumbing took my call and managed to be near the area at the house the same day going above and beyond. They fixed the leak at my washing machine valve. They replaced both the hot and cold valves, soldered the new ones in cleanly, and then went ahead and fixed another plumbing issue around the house while they were here. Fast, high-quality work from start to finish. They were also great with our golden retriever, who spent most of the visit trying to lick them and watch. Professional, capable, and easy to have in the home. Highly recommend. - Justin MSeptember 2026Google

- Theo5.0Great experience with Jeffries Plumbing. Had them in last week to install a new water heater. Great communication throughout the entire process, completed quickly and fair pricing as well. Left the workspace spotless. Even offered to help search the house to locate one of my cats who we thought might have escaped the house during the installation. Went above and beyond in that moment.August 2026Google

Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. A company will often travel beyond the areas listed here for a large job and decline a small one at the same distance, so confirm your address before scheduling.
About Jeffries Plumbing Ltd.
Jeffries Plumbing is a family business run by brothers Josh and Logan Jeffries, who started it in Tantallon on the western side of HRM. The website says their plumbers are Red Seal certified and the company is fully registered and licensed, and Google shows 71 reviews at a 4.8 average, read September 24, 2026.
The service list mixes everyday plumbing with rural needs. Jeffries handles emergency plumbing, toilets, drain cleaning, maintenance, sewer repair, installations, renovations and new construction, along with sump pumps, well pumps and water heaters. It also does radon mitigation, which is worth knowing for homeowners whose radon test came back high. The company offers 24/7 emergency service and free estimates on residential projects, and serves Halifax, Bedford, Sackville, Tantallon, St. Margaret's Bay, Timberlea and Dartmouth. Google lists office hours of 7am to 4:30pm on weekdays. The company says it guarantees its work, but specific warranty terms are not published.
Reviews name both brothers. Darin's water ran dry on a Sunday night, he called after 9pm and Logan called back right away, came the next morning and found a burnt-out capacitor in the pump control box, then showed him how to check the pump's health himself. Mark needed a water meter relocated on a tight timeline and called the work tidy and fairly priced. Angela had a hot water tank installed in her daughter's condo and said the crew called ahead about arrival time. Stacey has used Josh and Logan to overhaul plumbing another contractor installed incorrectly and called them transparent and honest.
Jeffries suits a homeowner in Tantallon, Timberlea or around St. Margaret's Bay, especially one on a well, who wants a local family company. It suits less well someone on the Dartmouth side looking for a quick visit. Ask for the plumber's certificate, get warranty terms in writing, and confirm who pulls the HRM plumbing permit.
