Our Take on Milani Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning

Milani's Victoria branch brings 24-hour coverage and a large review base, backed by a company that has been around since 1956. It is plumbing-first and bills hourly, and a couple of reviewers were unhappy with repeat after-hours charges, so settle billing up front.

About Milani Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning

Milani Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is a family-owned company that has served the Lower Mainland since 1956. It has since expanded to Burnaby, the Okanagan, Calgary, Edmonton and Victoria, where it lists an office at 1806 Vancouver Street. The Victoria location has 710 Google reviews at a 4.7 average as of September 24, 2026.

Milani is a plumbing and heating company rather than an HVAC specialist. It repairs and installs furnaces, boilers, heat pumps and air conditioners, and it also handles drains, leaks, water heaters and sump pumps. Its Google listing shows 24-hour service, and the company bills service calls by the hour, which it describes as easy-to-understand pricing. It advertises a 100% guarantee.

Most of the Victoria reviews we read were for plumbing, and they split more than for the heating specialists on this list. One customer said a plumber arrived within 15 minutes during a basement flood and fixed several drains during an emergency call. Another praised a sump pump install where Chris explained the job and the crew left the area spotless each day. Two recent one-star reviews are worth reading. One described a sewer backup call that went badly, and another said they paid after-hours rates for a leak repair and were told they would pay after-hours rates again when the leak came back within a week.

Milani's website does not publish a Technical Safety BC licence number for the Victoria branch, so ask for it before gas or boiler work. We could not find real job photos for this location.

Milani suits Victoria homeowners who need someone quickly at night or on a weekend, especially for a boiler, water heater or plumbing problem. For a planned heat pump install, a Victoria heat pump specialist higher on this list is the better first call. Ask how return visits are billed before work starts.
