Recent Google Reviews
- Perry Crous5.0Accutemp was pleasant to work with; they were able to schedule the install fairly promptly despite being the busy season, and got it done in a day. Since then the heat pump has functioned very well, keeping a large upper storey room cool on hot evenings. They were also very prompt and accommodating in dealing with a permit issue that arose from the subcontractor, making it as painless as possible. Happy to say that I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!July 2026Google
- Noah MacLeod5.0Great people installing great systems, very happy with our service and installation of a heat pump that we got through Accutemp!June 2026Google
- Don Moffatt5.0We're extremely pleased with the service visit conducted by Daniel. We purchased our house 10 months ago and noticed that the heat pump seemed to struggle in both heat and AC modes, but wondered if the 17 year old system simply wasn't as good as the new heat pump in our previous house. He inspected the system, caught three issues, and cleaned the filters. It is now quieter and more effective. Well worth the service call. Daniel was also personable. Thank you for the professional service.June 2026Google
- Susan Gillen5.0Lovely staff, Jeff was great. Good work at a great price. Very responsive and quick to reply.May 2026Google
- Gregory Charlebois5.0In the six years, I’ve lived in my home. I’ve had issues with my air-conditioning. It has never worked properly. I’ve had multiple technicians look at it and tell me it was fine. We had Daniel N l. come by to do our regular maintenance. He found the problem that no other technician had found. My air-conditioning is now working better than it ever has. From the bottom of our hearts Thank you!May 2026Google
- Maureen Gill5.0Heather Vermette was great. She managed to open my HRV system and took the time to explain the mechanics of the coil box, showed me how to open the cover ,turn off the system in order to remove the filters. Thank you so much.March 2026Google

About Accutemp Refrigeration Air Conditioning & Heating Ltd
Accutemp Refrigeration Air Conditioning & Heating says it has served Greater Victoria and Duncan for more than 40 years. Its shop is on Whittier Avenue in Saanich, and it has 120 Google reviews at a 4.5 average as of September 24, 2026, the lowest rating on this list and right at our 4.5 floor.
The company works across heating, cooling and refrigeration. It installs and services heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioning and boilers for homes, and rooftop units and refrigeration for businesses. It services all major brands, offers 24/7 service and maintenance contracts, and lists rebate help and financing. It says it guarantees quality workmanship but does not publish a licence number online.
Accutemp's best reviews are about diagnosis. One homeowner said their 17-year-old heat pump struggled in both modes, and Daniel found and fixed the problem on a service visit. Another had an air conditioner that multiple technicians had called fine for six years, until Daniel found the fault during regular maintenance. Install customers describe prompt scheduling in the busy season, a one-day heat pump install that has kept a large upstairs room cool, and a company that called back when others did not. A long-time customer said a blower motor was replaced under warranty within a week.
One detailed one-star review describes the opposite. The customer said Accutemp recommended repairing their furnace while another company recommended replacing it, and that after several visits and many replaced parts the furnace kept malfunctioning. On an older furnace, ask for a written comparison of repair and replacement costs before you commit.
Accutemp suits Victoria homeowners with older heat pumps or air conditioners that other companies have not been able to fix, and businesses that need refrigeration and rooftop units serviced. Office hours are 8 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays.
